US Military Bases in the Middle East Around Iran - Another Look

In a recent post, I looked at how an American attack on Iran might unfold.  I have done a couple of other posts some time back on US military bases in the Middle East, and I thought it would be useful to add another.  The map below provides a detailed look at US military bases.  I apologize for the small font, but it was the only way to make it fit in the post - most readers should still be able to make it out.  So, here are the countries in and around the Middle East where the US military has major military bases near Iran:

• Saudi Arabia
• United Arab Emirates (UAE)
• Kuwait
• Bahrain
• Oman
• Iraq

These are just the Persian Gulf/GCC countries.  Let's also not forget that the US also has numerous military bases near Iran in Afghanistan; they have a major airbase in Kyrgyzstan; the US has a major airbase in Turkey at Incirilik; and they also now have a base in Israel.  Note:I am at @Global_Politico on Twitter
